The action thriller, which had released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali has already emerged as the fifth South Indian film to cross the Rs. 250 crore mark at the Box Office worldwide. Susi Ganeshan's upcoming film Thiruttuppayale 2 is slated to release soon. The film, tipped to be an erotic thriller, stars Bobby Simha and Malayalam actress Amala Paul in lead roles. Thiruttuppayale 2was in news ever since the makers released the first look poster of the film. In fact, the poster eventually became a controversial topic as lead actress Amala Paul was seen showing off her navel in it.

However,Amala Paul finally opened up about the controversy in her recent interview.“I never thought my navel would create so much buzz around the film. There is so much exposure to everything and we are living in 2017; despite that, my navel has become a sensation. In Thiruttuppayale 2, I play a bold and confident woman and I also got a lot of liberty to express myself". (SIC). Thiruttuppayale 2 is scheduled to hit the screens on November 30.
